A Monumental Loss

Judge Ruth Bader Ginsberg had come to represent a light of righteousness. She passed away on a day of righteousness, and not surprisingly – divinely synchronistically. And I think many of us were hoping she would hold on until past November 3. Because a lot of us felt, I think, that she was holding back a dam of issues with what she represented iconically—of freedoms that would be once again threatened, reconsidered, and up for voting. Perhaps what we are feeling is that a light that gone out. What she represented was a force of transformation. So much was transformed by her, and in her passing part of our lives may be transformed again, but in a way many do not want.
