Reptiles and Empowerment

Hi, Everyone –

This week, I will stray from my ordinary archetypal video and expand into what I think of as archetypal information. And I’m doing this because I’ve had several conversations recently with people who shared their struggles with inner doubt, with what Teresa of Avila called your inner reptile, the inner voices that disempower you.

Everybody deals with this. And because it’s an everybody thing, it falls into that category of an archetypal dynamic. I want to describe the stages of guidance and how they develop in us, which is an archetypal passage. And then, I will talk about the inner reptiles and coping within them.

Along the path of empowerment, everybody encounters inner reptiles. This voice will try to stop you from being your full self. But action destroys reptiles; positive action always destroys reptiles.

This is an archetypal lesson and what this life journey looks like in the microcosm of every human’s empowerment. Nothing in the outer world is stable because we are the engines of what happens in our world. The journey of empowerment is about getting that truth and then managing that truth.
